Born from a collision between mysticism and science, cmyplay is an organisation steeped in mystery. With roots in a dissident sect of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the cmyplay organisation – previously ζωή κάνει (zoí kánei meaning “living diagramme”) – opposed Crowley the traitor. Believing that the key to improving material existence lies in Theurgical ritual and henosis-based human sciences manifest through the form of the visual arts.

Thus it was that people began to rally around the understanding of the problem solving techniques pioneered by the cmyplay organisation. Either that or this is a rad company that produces superlative images and products that draw influence from pop-culture and the world around us.

The lovechild of Marie Curie and the clone of Tyler Durden, Matthew drew nudie pictures in his mother’s chequebooks. A fateful purchase from the architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld brought the boy’s talent to Mr Rietveld’s attention.

He was immediately enrolled in The University of Pretoria’s 4-year Information Design Programme and underwent extensive genetic enhancement. Following these intensive years of development – and after being the first man to set foot on the moon – Matthew gained working experience in the print, television, interface- and web design industries.
